So much for the advertising text on the website.
Now they had a room for us. We know the resort, so we knew very well what to expect. It is a hotel, but it is brand new, and it is located on our favorite beach, Choeng Mon. We love this place with its beautiful Cape Fahn
OK, there were very few but people in the hotel. Unfortunately, mostly inconsiderate rude Russians and a few families with children who had not yet been exposed to any educational experience. So what… We also could not make a local phone call from the room to rebook our flight as the phone system for the rooms was out of order.
TIT - This is Thailand. Instead, we were able to make a much less private phone call to Lufthansa in the lobby with a cell phone borrowed from the front desk, during which we flew off the line just before the rebooking was completed. But were blessed in the middle of it by a passing monk. The copious amount of water splashed in the process of blessing may have caused our cell phone to disconnect. But we were happy. How often do you get blessed unexpectedly and literally casually but with a gracious smile by a Buddhist monk? We were very aware of that beautiful second as a magical moment of happiness and still feel its reverberations within us.
With Teera and Amp we met two very special service people who obviously had our best interests at heart. They took care of us in a very magical way and made our time there a wonderfully relaxing experience. We had great days on the beach in every way - on our beach.
A week goes by quickly and we started planning in time for the period after the Melia stay. Although we are not hotel people, we made an offer to the hotel on what terms we would stay another three weeks. The facility is empty, so even we could still stand it there. However, big surprise - they didn't want us ...
Never mind. We take the opportunity and look around again for a villa. The situation has already changed again, and the number of guests unfortunately continues to decline. The peak over Christmas and New Year has passed and now, in the second week of January, the offer is suddenly huge for us again. As unfortunate as it is - it suits us. We took the opportunity and first extended our visas and booked for February and March an extraordinary super villa in a unique location and with fabulous views. The time until then we spend very relaxed in a smaller top maintained villa in the middle of our favorite place Plai Laem.
How fucking cool is our life...?
